2006 Competition

2006: Aim High

Aim High, the 2006 competition, was about shooting balls into targets around the field. The game was played in four rounds: an autonomous period, one alliance offense and one alliance defense, then offense and defense swapped, and then when any alliance could score.

The competition started with a 10 second autonomous mode where the robot was programmed to score one of three goals. Then there were three other rounds, each 40 seconds long, where the human controlled the robot and the robots scored by scoring balls into goals. The alliances could switch strategies in between each round, switching from offense to defense or vice versa.
